Health and Safety

Safety

At Ski Camp International safety is our number one priority. We are trained in safety procedures, including but not limited to, accident procedures, emergency communication process, mountain safety rules. All our staff members have been checked through the Criminal Records Bureau and have at least two references and recommendations to work with us on our camps. All medication that children bring with them is stored in a secure area and must be recorded on the medical form and handed to us at the time of registration, clearly labeled with instructions.

Emergencies

Slope Signs
The slopes in Hintertux are on high Alpine terrain and to a large extent on the glacier. The slopes on the glacier are secured by wooden poles with ropes stretched between them. The main rule is for the campers to never go beyond the marked boundaries.

Slopes and Rescue Service
The Slope and Rescue Service only monitors and checks slopes that are marked and open. There are emergency notification points at all lift stations in the skiing area!
