Our summer Ski Camp is located in the a beautiful village of Tux, five miles away from the Zillertaler Tram Station which is the starting point for the glacier ski trips.

That "special something" in Tux can be attributed to a unique combination of stunning natural landscapes, warm hospitality and authentic tradition.
At an amazing level, between 4,265 and 10,662 feet altitude lies the village of Tux, idyllically situated at the end of Zillertal Valley and just before the majestic Hintertuxer Glacier.
Tux stretches over 8 km and comprises of the villages of Tux-Vorderlanersbach, Tux-Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux.
The villages of Tux are small and characteristically Tyrolean, which combined with the Hintertux Glacier at the head of the valley, form a nature and sports paradise, 365 days a year!
Facts about the Hintertux Glacier: - There is skiing and snowboarding fun 365 days of the year.
- Over the last 6 years, more than 65 million Euro have been invested in building new facilities such as the Gletscherbus 2, 3 lifts, 8-seat Sommerberg Chairlift), the acquisition of new slope grooming machines and more slopes construction.
- 35,000 people per hour can be transported.
- Gletscherbus3 is the highest gondola in the world.
- Visitors from around 46 nations ski and snowboard here.
- The artificial snow on the Hintertux glacier is prepared from air and water and nothing else.
- Glacial ice is moving between 0 and 40m every year and consequently support struts that stand on glacial ice have to be moved regularly.

Ski Camp International is a camp that offers more than just skiing on the glacier.
Our other activities such as mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, whitewater rafting, sightseeing trips and more will give the children the opportunity to explore the Zillertal Valley and the beautiful cities of Innsbruck (Austria), Munich (Germany) and Venice (Italy). |
